Programmable power supplies enable capacitor charging
A series of compact 10W capacitor charging power supplies has been launched by Power Conversion Technology. The CCD10 capacitor chargers are compact high reliability power supplies intended for use as a component part in various applications such as lamp pumped lasers, UV curing and sterilisation, intense pulsed light systems and medical lasers.

Fanless power supplies have wide DC input capability
The range of fanless ATX power supplies from Power Conversion Technology has expanded with DC input models for mobile applications. Output powers range from 60-150W with ATX compatibility in a low profile 1U format. By using high efficiency thermal design techniques, the MPD series can operate in fanless configuration up to 50°C ambient without de-rating and have a maximum rating of 70°C.
