Fuel Cell Inverters
Due to the characteristics of fuel cells, power inverters for fuel cells consist of a DC/DC inverting element to invert low voltage & high current DC into constant high voltage DC, and a DC/AC inverting element to invert high-raised voltage DC into constant AC. DC output voltage of fuel cells can fluctuate up to double according to the amount of power, therefore, the DC/DC inverting element controls the output power by inverting input power into constant DC voltage, and the DC/AC inverting element operates in parallel with common power supply for grid connection. When faults in the common power supply occur, the DC/AC inverting part stops grid-connectionand takes it automatically off the grid.
Simple system configuration and efficient spacing successfully reduces the size to easily fit into customer systems while boasting a high efficiency rate.
1kW~260kW capacity of inverters for PEMFC, SOFC and MCFC types were already developed for residential, commercial and power plant uses. Customized power inverters contribute to optimal system operations.
